Hey y’all! It’s “Work Out Wednesday” and I figured I would review a bunch of the weight lifting gloves I have used and shredded, literally.
I don’t know how many of you have had the same problem I have. It is difficult for me to find weight lifting gloves. I know there is a lot of people who are under the idea that callouses are fine and that you don’t need to use gloves. I have tried that route and unfortunately I have sensitive hands and I ripped my palms to shreds. Gloves are just a better choice for me. These are the gloves I have tried and what I think about them. If you have any suggestions for me as to gloves to try please let me know. I am always looking for new ones to try out.
These were honestly bought in a hurry. It was 7 in the morning and the only place open was Walmart. These were the only gloves they carried. These gloves are honestly horrible to me. They are big on the palm but fitted at the wrist. I wore these gloves once and got three blisters on my palms. The grips on the palms didn’t stop the weights from moving within my hand. They are going into the garbage as soon as I am done with this post. If you want to waste your money, they are $7.97 and can be found at Walmart. You really do get what you pay for.
These were one of three pairs of gloves I ordered off Amazon. Unfortunately, I had to take to the internet to hopefully get a great pair of weight lifting gloves. These fit like a dream. I have not been able to use them as of yet. I just got them Friday but simply putting them on they fit like a glove (pun intended, lol). They didn’t seem to have any slip in them. They were the perfect size on the fingers, palms and wrists. They have a really cool design to them. I am excited to try them out. They are $18.29 and can be found here.
Gripper Glove by Fit Four
These gloves are super cool. They simply go around your fingers. They slip half way down your palm and don’t budge. I bought these on a whim and actually thought I was going to hate them but I have fallen in love with them. The no slip grip helps to ensure the weights don’t move within your hand. They have an elastic band around your palm but it is not too tight. They come in an array of colors and to me are pretty cool. The first time I used them, I did get black coloring from inside the gloves on my palms and the tops of my hands but nothing too drastic and it didn’t last long. They cost $24.95 and can be bought here.
Rejuvenation Women’s Pro Power Gloves
These are the original gloves I had. I had originally bought them at Target and didn’t really care for them. I then took to Amazon to find gloves to order better gloves and I ironically (on accident) ordered the EXACT SAME GLOVES that I didn’t really like. I was too lazy to ship them back to Amazon so I just sucked it up and kept them. Well, they split on my hands as I was lifting (causing me to buy the crappy Gold’s Gym gloves). Funny thing is these are discontinued now. I wonder why. . .
I hope this helps y’all. Again, if you guys any suggestions for me, let a girl know. Have a wonderful day guys. Make sure you get your butt to the gym today!
