Water – How To Get It In

Happy Wednesday y’all! I am writing this early because I will be traveling home all day from Kansas. It has been an awesome week of family and fun. Unfortunately, it is time for me to get back to my normally scheduled program. So, as this posts I will be on a plane on my way back to beautiful South Florida.

While traveling and going out I make sure I bring a water bottle with me and a water enhancer. I love water but it makes it even easier to get my water in when I flavor it. My favorite thing to use is Mio.

Today we are going to talk about all the yummy flavors I already love and the super cool ones that I found while traveling in Kansas that do not exist in Miami. Explain that one to me please? How is it that a small town in Kansas has a better Mio selection than every flipping Publix and Target in Miami?

“MiO. The original. The one that started it all. With MiO, the glass isn’t always half full. It’s full full. With just a few drops, MiO gives you the power to turn your water into whatever you want it to be. You want your water fruity? Boom. Strawberry Watermelon at your service. Want it to taste like summer? Boom. Lemonade at your fingertips. With MiO in your pocket, you’ve got a big surge of delicious flavor any time you want it, with none of the calories or sugar. Now that’s some primo beverage-making motivation,” the website claims.

My favorite by FAR is the Strawberry Watermelon. To me it tastes like a strawberry kool-aid. I don’t know why but it is flipping amazing. I go through about 2-3 bottles a week.

The fruit punch is sweet and tastes like Hawaiian Punch. So it is a nice trip down memory lane.

Mango Peach is also really good but it is super sweet. With this one I don’t add a lot to the water because it is a punch in the mouth with too much of this one.

Sweet Tea has a hint of the tea taste to it without it having all the calories. But I am not a huge tea person so I don’t reach for this one all the much.

Cherry Blackberry has a super weird after taste and it tasted chemically to me. I didn’t like it.

I did pick up the Berry Pomegranate and Berry Grape. I really want to try Cranberry Raspberry but haven’t been able to find it.

Energy

According to the website, “With MiO Energy, you’re just one tasty squeeze away from having 60 mg of caffeine in your corner. And with that kind of delicious beverage behind you, you’ll have the motivation to tackle just about anything. Staying awake through your nephew’s piano recital? Too easy. Walking away with the kickball MVP award? Done. Nailing your afternoon meeting? That 3PM status call ain’t got nothin’ on you.”

Black Cherry tastes chemically like the other cherry flavor. I think that naturally happens with cherry flavoring.

Tropical Fusion was good. It just has too much of a citrus undertone to me. I am not a huge fan of citrus.

Wicked Blue Citrus is SUPER sour. I could not drink it. It bothered me way too much.

I picked up Strawberry Pineapple Smash to try. I want to find Green Thunder and I will never try the coffee ones. I HATE coffee.

My absolute favorite one is Acai Berry Storm. I LOVE this stuff. I have gone through at least 20 bottles of this stuff. I will say I can’t drink it after a certain time because I can’t go to sleep but that is the caffeine that is in it.

Mio Vitamins

The website claims, “With MiO Vitamins, you’ve got a world full of wondrous B Vitamins at your fingertips. Just squirt a delicious kick of vitamins B3, B6 and B12 into your water and let all those vitamins go to work. Who knows? Once you’ve conquered this world of B Vitamins, you might just be motivated enough to conquer the actual world or at least… rush hour.”

These things are absolutely disgusting. I tried the Blackberry Raspberry and returned it immediately. Thanks to that one being horrible, I am sure as hell not trying the other flavors.

Electrolytes

What the website says about these, “whether you call it MiO Fit or MiO Electrolytes, we’ve packed a whole lot of awesome into one tiny bottle. All it takes is one squeeze and your water is suddenly transformed into a motivational force of electrolytes and B vitamins. Feel like skipping the elevator and taking the staircase? It’s time to get going. Finally going to use that gym bag you keep in your backseat? Today’s the day. Think you’re ready to sign up for that marathon you always thought you’d run? Well, let’s not get too carried away.”

The Berry Blast is quite delicious but I only use it when the Strawberry Watermelon is nowhere to be found. I know, I am sad and predictable.

Using this to flavor my water, I get through 100 ounces of water easily a day. Due to the fact that I have been drinking so much water I have felt less bloated and when I don’t get my water in, I get a horrible headache. It just proves that headaches are brought on by dehydration.

What do y’all use to get your water in? Let a girl know! Have a wonderful day.
