Benefit Brow Products

Hey y’all! I know it has been a hot minute since I have written yet again. When I decided to write three times a week, I was like this is gonna be cake! No, no it is not cake. It is cake that has been left out for a week. Lol. Anyway, for those of you that are fortunate enough to have the summer off, I hope it has been amazing and relaxing.

Today we are talking about most of the new Benefit Brow Products. I was sent some of these, won some of these and purchased the rest. I did travel to beauty heaven, Sephora, to sample the other ones that I don’t own.

Benefit has been one of the leaders in the brow game. They were once the primary brand you went to for brow products. Now with some of the many  brands that release brow collections, Benefit needed to step up their game and step it up they did. They have released 7 new brow products.

I was fortunate to receive or buy 5 out of the nine products.

First up, their Goof Proof Brow Pencil. . .

IMG_0190

What it does according to Sephora. . .

Designed to fit the angles of your eyebrows, this super easy brow-filling and shaping pencil provides 12-hour, waterproof wear. The soft, glide on color creates naturally full beautiful brows and the spoolie brush effortlessly blends for a perfectly polished look. Just use the pointed tip to outline arches and define your tail, then fill them in with the wide base. This stuff is comparable to the Anastasia Brow Definer. This retails for $24 at Sephora and Ulta.

It has a chiseled tip and diamond shape. It comes in six different shades and that covers a wide variety of needs.

It has a spoolie on one end and the product on the other. The shiny silver packaging is beautiful. The lids only fit on their respective side and have a small magnet to ensure that they fit perfectly onto the ends. The packaging on this product is absolutely gorgeous but the product itself is lacking. When I apply this to my brows, I feel like I have to push extra hard in order to have any type of color payoff.

Every time I use this I feel like I am ripping my eyebrows out with how hard I have to push and I feel the color payoff is not that great. I honestly would pass on this one.

Next up, their Gimme Brow. . .

What it does according to Sephora. . .

Gimme Brow’s in innovative brush-on gel has tiny micro fibers that adhere to skin and hair, creating lush-looking eyebrows where before there were none. The water-resistant, long-lasting, buildable formula locks brow hairs in place while conditioning with vitamin B5 and marshmallow extract. It builds easily for thick, full arches, thanks to a tapered brush for blending and a precision tip for shaping perfect brows.

This is a liquid base color that helps fill in sparse brows. The packaging is the same pretty silver throughout the entire collection.  It’s sleek and awesome. The spoolie is oh so tiny and it works perfectly to apply the product. There are times that you need to wipe the spoolie off so that it doesn’t deposit an overabundance of product on to your brows.

It comes in three different colors, which I don’t think it a huge range. You have to be careful to not apply too much or else your brows look severely fake because of it. This stuff retails for $24. One of my best friends was looking for something to fill in her brows that didn’t take too much time and I recommended this stuff to her and she fell in love. She uses it daily.

Next on this line up, 3D Browtones. . .

What it does, according to Sephora. . .

Bring eye-catching depth and dimension to your eyebrows with 3D BROWtones Instant Color Eyebrow Highlights. It adds subtle, natural-looking highlights to brows, bringing soft contrast to darker brows and depth to lighter brows. Its custom, spiral, curved brush applies product evenly from root to tip. The comb tip was specially designed to fit even the narrowest parts of the brows to instantly define and perfect your arches. The water-resistant formula stays put for up to 12 hours, and it can be worn alone or over your favorite brow product.

The spoolie on this one is a little bigger and has brush tips on the tip of the spoolie as well. It is made to highlight the brows so that they don’t all look the same color and appear flat. This stuff helps add dimension to your brows.

Unfortunately, it only comes in two colors but I think that works as it is supposed to essentially be a highlighter for your brows.  It retails for $24

Next up is the ka-Brow. . .

What it does, according to Sephora. . .

Ka-BROW! features an all-in-one cream-gel formula with a built-in brush that glides on smoothly to easily shape, fill, and define your eyebrows. The buildable, 24-hour wear, smudge-proof color creates brow looks that range from a soft daytime look to bold playtime look. Transform the cap into a full length brush for extra precision and control by pulling the brush out of the cap, flipping it around and snapping it back in. A little goes a long way, so don’t be shy about dabbing any excess product off the brush before applying to each brow.

This packaging is different because it is a sample size. I also don’t feel I can give a proper review based on the sample size because it was difficult to use with such a small brush and pot of product. It is a cream based product that fills in your brows.  Due to the fact that it was a sample, I was unable to choose the color.

This product comes in six different colors. Therefore it would cover a wide range of brow tones and it retails for $24.

Next is High Brow Glow Luminous. . .

What it does, according to Sephora. . .

Benefit’s favorite eyebrow highlighting pencil now has a creamier and more blendable formula. Its champagne-pink shade with an eye-catching luminous finish accentuates arches, makes eyes pop, and gives the brow area a lifted look.

I do not own this and have not used this. It only comes in one shade and retails for $22.

Next up is High Brow Highlight & Lift Pencil. . .

s1820927-main-Lhero

What it does according to Sephora. . .

Benefit’s coveted eyebrow highlighting pencil now features a creamier and more blendable formula. Its linen-pink shade has a natural-looking, matte finish and is ideal for all skintones. Complete your brow look by masking stray hairs and accentuating your arches for brighter, boosted and younger-looking eyes.

Again, I don’t personally own this one.  It was not something I was interested in to be honest. It retails for $22.

Next on the lineup is Precisely, My Brow Pencil. . .

s1820612-main-Lhero

What it does according to Sephora. . .

Transform shapeless, undefined eyebrows with just a few flicks of this super-slim pencil. The custom, ultra-fine tip makes adding detailed definition to your brows easy, by drawing incredibly natural, hair-like strokes. This rich, waterproof pencil is ideal for spot filling sparse or over-tweezed areas. The smudge-proof formula is firm enough for precise application yet glides on effortlessly to bring symmetry to your brows—and your entire face. The custom control grip ensures you have precise application everytime, and the built-in spoolie-brush expertly blends color and tames brow hairs for a natural, polished look.

Because this is just like the Anastasia Brow Wiz, I didn’t see the need of buying this one as well. This comes in 6 colors, which covers a wide variety of brow tones. It retails for $24.

Next up on the list is Ready, Set, Brow!. . .

s1820836-main-Lhero

What is does according to Sephora. . .

Hold eyebrows in place and keep them perfectly polished all day with this clear setting gel. The custom brush features long bristles that evenly coat brow hairs from root to tip and short bristles to sculpt and shape hairs into place. The flexible, flake-free and quick to dry formula applies easily to brows and locks on makeup for 24 hours.

I do have this product but I could’t find it to be able to take pictures of it. I think I left it at school, since that is primarily where I do my make up now. Lol. This stuff is amazing though. I have some stray brow hairs that do not like to listen no matter what I do, so this stuff ensure that they stay where I want them.  It does clear and does not get crusty. It retails for $24.

Next is BROWVO! Conditioning Primer. . .

s1820745-main-Lhero.jpg

This is another product I was able to get for free and again, I can’t find it. Lol. With school starting, my life is crazy and a little messy. It is what it is. This stuff has been helping my eyebrows grow. I have VERY SPARSE brows and this stuff is helping to fill them in. I love it!

What it does according to Sephora. . .

Take your eyebrows from sparse to seriously fuller-looking with BROWVO! Conditioning Primer. This nutrient-rich, conditioning primer is formulated with keratin and soy proteins—known to help brows look thicker, healthier, and fuller. The double-duty formula can be used as a primer to extend and enhance other brow products or worn alone to condition and smooth brows. The custom-designed soft-touch applicator tames and coats brows from root to tip.

It retails for $28. I fully believe it is worth every penny.

Last on the list is Brow Zings Tame & Shape Kit. . .

s1820802-main-Lhero.jpg

What it does according to Sephora. . .

This all-in-one kit for eyebrows features a soft, pigmented wax to create shape and definition and a setting powder to give brows 12 hours of wear. Brow Zings is perfectly purse sized and includes a double-ended brush & mini slant tweezers so you can tweeze, shape, fill, and set brows anywhere you go.

I don’t own this one because I don’t really care for powder products when it comes to my brows. It retails for $32 and comes in 6 different shades.

Overall

I really think that Benefit has come out strong in the brow game and they have done an impeccable job of it. I would completely recommend checking them out and giving at least one of their products a try.

Hopefully, I’ll talk to y’all on Wednesday! Lol.
