Time To Check In

Hey y’all! I figured I would update you on what has been going on in my life and why I haven’t been writing. I accepted this challenge in hopes of changing that. As many of you know, I am a high school teacher.

This year I have been given the opportunity to help guide my students while creating the school’s yearbook. I am beyond ecstatic to have this chance. I was a DIE HARD yearbook student while I was in high school. In all honesty, it was one of the reasons I became a teacher. After 8 years of trying to achieve my dream, I have the chance.

Yearbook is a passion and a love that holds a special place in my heart. With that, I want to do a really good job. It is something that has impacted me since high school and will continue to do so. Even today, with no school, we were working on the yearbook. No rest for the wicked.

On top of yearbook, I have my other classes I am teaching and clubs I am in charge of. I am in NO way complaining about everything that I have on my plate. On to contrary, I am super happy and grateful for everything that I have going on.

With everything going on, I pulled gator tags again this year. As I have said before it is a great time and I love hunting. This year we were lucky enough to pull this monster out of the waters. I don’t think I will ever beat this gator. He is appropriately named Goliath.

Due to all of these new adventures, my blog has taken a backseat and I apologize. I hope y’all can forgive me. Have a great Monday!
