Diffuser and Oils

Hey y’all! I did it! FOUR POSTS IN ONE NIGHT!!! I am officially caught up and possibly a little delirious. Lol. I can PROMISE you that tomorrow’s post is the bombdotcom. It is this amazing green, white, and grey smokey eye. I love making my eyes pop with fun colors.

Any way, let’s get into the last post. This one is little controversial with people, it is whether you should or should not use essential oils and a diffuser.

I  have heard a lot about essential oils and diffusing. I have trouble sleeping at night and I figured I would give it a chance. I will say I did not go with the “popular” brand that everyone has been talking about. I went on Amazon and bought my diffuser and went to Target (y’all already know how much I love that place) and picked up some oils.

I grabbed peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender and breathe. I will fully admit that I bought so many because they were buy one get one 50% off. So for two it ended up being $15 which is what you pay for one of the other ones.

I LOVE my diffuser. It is so pretty and calming. It is plastic not wood. It runs for about 6 hours and turns off automatically. It doesn’t have a timer, when it runs out of water it turns off. It changes colors while it runs but that feature can be turned off. The sound of the diffuser is extremely calming and helps with falling asleep.

I have never used my diffuser, except to go to bed. I will say on the nights that I use it, I wake up more refreshed than on the nights that I don’t use it. I don’t remember to set it up every night because I don’t have sleeping issues every night. But if I go to sleep and can’t fall asleep and set this up I am out within 20 minutes. I don’t know if it is because of the actual oils or if it is a mental thing but it works and that is all that matters.

I would highly recommend trying a diffuser if you have problems sleeping or breathing. Right now I am getting a stuffy nose and I don’t want it to get any worse. I am going to add some of the breathe oils to the water tonight to hopefully clear up my sinuses. I also haver never rubbed the oils straight on me. I always diffuse them.

If there is a recipe that I should try, let a girl know. I hope y’all have a wonderful night. I look forward to talking to y’all tomorrow. Night!
