Pushing Forward

Happy Tuesday y’all! You will be getting 3 posts today to make up for my lack of posting over the weekend. Sorry. We all know how this works; I attempt to do something, I stick to it for a week and then I lapse, apologize and start all over again. Lol. No excuses, nothing. This is me. Take it or leave it.

Funny enough, that is kinda what today’s post is about. I am not an easy person to get a long with and you either like me or hate me, for most it is the latter because I don’t sugarcoat things and I don’t play nice, at all. Don’t get my wrong, this doesn’t upset me. I have a small group of friends that have taken the time to get to know me and that is fine by me. But this post is talking about what to do when you feel like the whole world is against you.

You have to keep going. You can’t stop. Just because someone or something starts pushing against you, you can’t falter. I am not going to sit here and tell you it is going to be easy because it won’t. There are days that I feel the whole world is against me and I can’t do a damn thing right (today is one of those days, hence this post). I try my hardest to remember that each morning we are born again and that today is what matters.

It is sometime VERY difficult to remember that each day brings a new chance at making things better and giving us an opportunity to change for the better. I wake up every morning ready to make it a good day and 9 times out of 10 by the time I get to work that has gone out the window. But I don’t give up. I keep pushing forward. I know that most days it is easier to stay in bed and WISH away your problems but guess what? That’s NOT AN OPTION.

You need to get up and put your big girl/boy panties on and deal with your problems. Realize that you are the one that can change things and as long as you try, you are still pushing forward. There are days that I just want to say screw it all, move away and start all over but that won’t help or change anything in the long run.

You have to be a warrior. You need to be your own cheerleader. You have to realize that NO ONE else wants you to succeed as much as you want yourself to succeed. You are the one that loves and cares about you the most, so make sure you take care of yourself when the doubters and the naysayers try to take over. Push forward. Always.

I absolutely love this quote. It is perfectly true. When you feel that life is pulling you back, it is simply because it is getting ready to launch you into a better place. You’ve got this. Keep moving. Keep fighting, you’re worth it.
