Benefit Skin Care Review

Hey hey hey. This is now the post for day 3 of blogmas. Yup, I am trying to write three posts today to catch up and then HOPEFULLY stay on top of it from here on out but we ALL know how on point I am with this stuff, so, let’s all have a great laugh about that. Lol.

On to the review!

This time we are going to talk about the Benefit Totally B Right Radiant Skincare. WOW, that was a mouth full. Lol. Anyway, I bought this from Ulta awhile ago to have skin care products that I would be able to travel with. But the size was not worth what this stuff did to my skin.

The set comes with:

  • Instant Comeback Facial Serum
  • Foamingly Clean Facial Wash
  • Total Moisture Facial Cream
  • It’s Potent! Eye Cream
  • Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15
  • Dream Screen Invisible Silky-Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Sunscreen

Let’s break it down. . .

Packaging –

  • Benefit kills it when it comes to the packaging. It looks like the vintage makeup bottles. All of the bottles except the cleanser and the sun screen are in plastic squeeze tubes.

  • Instant Comeback Facial Serum
    • It was ok. It felt super greasy and slippery. I used it after I got out of the shower and was not that impressed by it. I have a lot better serums.
  • Foamingly Clean Facial Wash
    • The funny thing was this stuff didn’t even foam up. It was just there. It also left my face SUPER dry, not a good thing considering my face is already SUPER dry.
  • Total Moisture Facial Cream
    • It’s a moisturizer. Nothing fancy. Nothing special. My skin didn’t feel extra hydrated or anything of that nature. I was definitely underwhelmed. The packaging is annoying. How the hell are you supposed to get enough out for your face when you can only get a finger at a time in it?!
    • This stuff is THICK. Like thicker than any other eye cream I’ve seen. The packaging makes it very difficult to get anything out of the container without a q-tip. It is really hard to get anything bigger than a pinky finger in there.
  • Triple Performing Emulsion SPF 15
    • I had absolutely no idea what this stuff was for until I looked it up. Essentially, it is a fancy name for a daily moisturizer. It might have a fancy name but it is definitely not a fancy product. Just your typical moisturizer. . .
  • Dream Screen Invisible Silky-Matte Sunscreen
    • A SUPER long name for no reason. It is a sunscreen. Yes, it is not greasy like normal sunscreens but it is still just a sunscreen. I personally think the Bare Republic sunscreen I reviewed earlier.

I hate this stuff. It sent my skin into a tizzy fit. I broke out like crazy! And I know it was one or more of these products because it was the only skin care I took with me out of town. Yes, I had been to my destination before and no, my skin doesn’t normally break out while I am there. No I did not have a hormone imbalance that week. Lol. This stuff just plain out sucks. I would NEVER recommend this skin care line to some one with dry sensitive skin. EVER.
